A tall wall that deserves attention

Stairwells often have the tallest walls in the house. That makes them a good place for a panel wall. Vertical slats follow the height of the space and draw the eye up. Choose a finish that matches the floors on each level, or a contrasting tone that makes the staircase stand out.

A quieter stairwell

Stairwells carry sound between floors. Voices, footsteps and the TV downstairs travel up the hard walls. Stairwell acoustic panels help absorb that sound before it spreads through the house. Every Akupanel has an acoustic felt backing with Class A sound absorption.

Following the line of the stairs

You can run the panels at full height for a clean, tall wall, or stop them in a straight line that follows the angle of the stairs. Cut the panels to length with a fine-toothed saw and finish the edges with end lamellas for a clean line along the stairs and at the ceiling.

Light on the way up

Lumi LED light behind the panels gives the stairs a soft glow, which is useful as evening light on the way to bed. Combine with a wall lamp on the landing for a warm, finished look.
